This is a really fruit driven coffee from Brazil. This is a luscious and fruity cup, full of yellow plum notews and a toffee apple and cocoa nib, rich finish.
Located in the region of Mococa near the southern border of Sul de Minas, FAF is the organic managed farm of the Croce family. FAF stands for Fazenda Ambiental Fortaleza (environmental fortress farm). It has been a coffee plantation since 1850 and owned and managed by the Baretto family since the early 1900s.
Fazenda Ambiental Fortaleza (Environmental Fortress Farm)has been owned by
the Baretto family since the early 1900s. Since 2002, Silvia Baretto and her husband Marcos Croce have transformed the farm into a model of sustainable organic agriculture. Their love for high quality coffee and nature drives the success of the farm. Care is taken with each lot, starting with selective hand-picking. The Baretto Croce family’s focus on high quality means that their coffee is able to achieve premium prices. They have shared their knowledge and experience with their neighbours, creating a network of farms and evolving into a small family-owned exporting company.
