A delicious Microlot with juicy notes of cola and the sweetness of brown sugar. As the coffee cools, you can taste delicate white grape and lime notes.
This lot is extra special. It has been grown by a Women’s Group which is part of Asprotimana, coffee growers association producing our Timana single origin coffee, who we have worked with since 2003. The Women’s Group consists of 40 women who are provided with leadership and business training; as part of the training, they learn about roasting coffee for the local market, as well as preparation of drinks, desserts and sweets to build a café business. These women demonstrate to the world that women are more than capable of not only managing a farm, but truly succeeding in doing it.
This specific parcel is named after Mrs. Verónica Perdomo and Mrs. Mercedes Rojas Macías, two producers who have grown the coffee. It is sweet and morerish, with juicy notes of cola and sweetness of brown sugar. As the coffee cools, you can taste delicate white grape and lime notes.
