This Microlot makes this a tasty and moreish filter. An organic coffee, it’s been grown by model farmer, Alemayehu Beraso, in the Yirgacheffe region of Ethiopia.
The region is celebrated due to its premium reputation and distinct flavour profiles (notice the intense, clean taste and complex floral notes!). Alemayehu farms on less than a hectare, putting relentless effort and attention into his coffee which is grown under a canopy of shade and dried in his garden before being delivered to the Konga co-operative.
The country has five main growing areas which produces a range of coffees with an incredible diversity of flavour profiles unmatched by any other single country. Ethiopia and the Yirgacheffe district in particular, produce some of the most exotic coffees in Africa.
